Sign up for the Canon Docudrama Group mentored by cinematographer, editor and producer Mariusz Konopka. We want to encourage you to make a collective audiovisual project on a socially important topic, e.g. children’s Internet addiction.

We want to divide the activities in the Canon Docudrama Group into two stages.

The first part of the project, i.e. selection of the topic, discussion of strategy/promotion, script work and preliminary photos, will take place during the 18th Film Spring Open Workshop under the supervision of Mariusz Konopka. A specialist in this genre who creates films with small budgets.

Then we will encourage you to take part in the second part, which will be held online. Participants will independently create scenes related to the selected topic in their places of residence. The project assumes the involvement of as many young filmmakers as possible, ready to produce documentary and/or feature scenes on a selected topic. The online course tutor, together with the participants, will select the submitted shots and decide on their final editing.

I am a producer, cinematographer and editor.As a member of the film crews of J.J.Kolski and Filip Bajon, I actively observed, learned and gained experience on how to organize my own production.As an independent producer, I have learned to minimize the costs.The lack of money was not an obstacle for me to carry out film projects and win awards at festivals.I have been using Canon equipment for 10 years.

Mariusz Konopka: graduated from the Wrocław Film School, majoring in film editing.A cinematographer with a passion for films.He gained experience on the sets of the films “Jasminum”, “Afonia i pszczoły” by J.J.Kolski or Filip Bajon’s “Foundation”.

He is the founder of Horyzont Studio, which produces feature films, documentaries and advertising films broadcast, among others, in Canal+, Planet+, TVP and TVN.

Values independence. He has been cooperating with Canon for years. Implements all projects on C500 II and R5C.

The Film Spring Open Workshop is celebrating its 18th anniversary. There will be no shortage of distinguished guests, group leaders and lecturers from the world of film. This group will include: Ewa Puszczyńska, Agnieszka Smoczyńska, Ilona Łepkowska, Justyna Pawlak (Watchout Studio) and Tomasz Bagiński. They will also be joined by a good friend of the Film Spring Workshop, Paweł Łoziński.
