We are looking for young, talented people who want to develop their theoretical and practical skills in all professions of the audiovisual industry: directors, cinematographers, script writers, actors, editors, sound editors, composers and also programmers, graphic designers and producers. Our 10-day programme reflects this diversity. Workshop participans will learn and make their film projects in eleven Creative Groups which cover such fields as documentary film, script writing, VR, interactive narration, music videos, commercials, CGI, computer games, feature film previses, internet projects and new model of production. One of our main values is artistic freedom so participants decide themselves how to make best use of our programme; therefore, they can also make their films individually, outside the creative groups or participate in various lectures, workshops and meeting with recognized filmmakers.

We expect that this year’s edition will be more international than ever thanks to our promototional activities during many foreign events such as Baltic Event in Tallinn 2016, Industry at IFFR Rotterdam 2017, Film Festivals in Berlin and Sofia, events in Cologne, Moscow and Film Festival in Cannes, which was also attended by some of our lecturers: Małgorzata Szumowska, Allan Starski, Dorota Kędzierzawska and Tomasz Wasilewski.

Our participants are our best ambassadors and this is also thanks to them that each year we can welcome increasing number of Polish and foreign filmmakers. We are very happy that for many young, talented artists our event have become an important part of their lives and they come back to learn and work with us each year and that their friendships and collaborations started at Film Spring Workshop result in their future projects and developing of their careers.
