Yvonne Potter is a researcher and screenwriter currently working in the Polish film industry. Yvonne is a graduate of King’s College London University in French and German, as well as being fluent in Polish. In 2002, she completed the two-year University Extension program at the University of California Los Angeles in Entertainment Publicity.In 1998, she started her career at Wizja TV, a media corporation operating from Maidstone Studios in England. Proud of her Polish heritage and fascinated by the influence of Polish artists on early cinema, she developed a passionate interest in the great silent film star, Pola Negri. This obsession led to two decades of research into her private and public life. Yvonne co-wrote a feature film script with British writer Lea Sellers based on Pola Negri’s Hollywood years at Paramount Studios, as well as VOID – a Holocaust drama set in Poznań during the first six weeks of World War II.
