Experienced creative director and motion designer Sophia Kyriacou will be guest at Film Spring Open 2019 and will give a lecture as well as 2 days workshop! Sophia will take you on a journey from the initial commissioning process of 3 successful award-winning title sequences and show you how Cinema 4D played a role within her workflow. She will conceptually and technically breakdown the BBC US Elections 2018 Titles, created for the midterms and broadcasted across both domestic BBC channels as well as BBC World, The Human Rights Zoetrope Titles, created for her international client at Noon Films and the BBC School Report Titles, designed for a young audience to help children get involved in News Production.
Sophia Kyriacou is a multi-award-winning creative in the broadcast design industry. With over 21 years’ experience at the BBC in London, her work has been seen and enjoyed by millions of viewers around the world. Sophia has also carved a career as a freelancer, working with exciting clients, from documentaries to program brands as well as producing her own self-development projects. She is hugely passionate about storytelling and is in the process of completing a script for an animated short film where she plans to start production in the new year. Sophia is also a full voting member at BAFTA.
