INTERACTIVE NARRATION GROUP 2025

The Interactive Narration Group can work on a project of their choice and/or join the WELCOME TO FILM SPRING OPEN, LET’S CHANGE THE WORLD, and/or SUPER TRAMP projects under the supervision of Florent Pallares and the Red Eyes Cool, a group of international filmmakers founded in 2008 during the Film Spring Open workshop.
The interactive storytelling group aims to operate in the spirit of an “artistic residency.” This group is open to all filmmakers who want to contribute at different stages of the creative process or to independent teams who want to develop their own interactive story. You are welcome to help for one day, several days, or throughout the entire project.
Another focus of the group will be to try to create the most eco-friendly audiovisual production possible, following the recommendations of FRAME (Federation of Research in Audiovisual Media and Ecology).

WELCOME TO FILM SPRING OPEN – INTERACTIVE DOCUMENTARY AND FICTION PROJECT

WELCOME TO FILM SPRING OPEN is an interactive project that allows the audience to meet various people from the Film Spring Open universe and/or discover some of their creations. The idea is to produce short and entertaining video capsules, each a few minutes long, which may themselves be interactive — in the form of interviews, mini-reports or documentaries, tutorials, fiction pieces, or even mockumentaries. 2022 marked the beginning of this project, which can grow each year with the addition of new capsules on a freely accessible website.
For the 2025 edition, we plan to explore the compatibility between Artificial Intelligence and Ecology through a project called “Are you Read-AI?”

LET’S CHANGE THE WORLD – INTERACTIVE DOCUMENTARY PROJECT

LET’S CHANGE THE WORLD is an interactive website showcasing documentaries and photo reports about people who are trying to change the world in their own way. The first season was launched during the Film Spring Open Workshop in October 2022 in Kraków. Since then, we’ve received over 1,500 submissions from more than 100 different countries. We selected around fifty, which you can watch here:

SUPER TRAMP – INTERACTIVE FICTION PROJECT
The Super Tramp project began in the Guanajuato region of Mexico in February 2020 but was paused due to the pandemic. This year, we restarted filming in Ensenada, Baja California, in July 🙂
Filming will continue in France in August, and in Poland during Film Spring Open in October.
In 2020, Super Tramp was an interactive fiction project based on a fake international reality TV show where viewers had the opportunity to select and pit two homeless individuals against each other in order to change their lives. For example, the audience could decide to turn them into an artist, an athlete, a politician… and the best of them could reach the final stage and become whatever the audience had chosen. Today, the show has reconnected with some of its former stars, who became homeless during the pandemic and, by living amid waste, became aware of the importance of ecology.
It now offers a new type of interactive show in which “super tramps” teach the public about ecological awareness.
This satirical and humorous project aims to denounce greenwashing while attempting to raise viewers’ ecological consciousness.
It is open to all filmmakers who wish to participate, whether by directing scenes or joining existing teams.
