“You can draw anything and bring every idea, every fantasy to life. The only limit is our imagination. This is how I create my films, and if you want, I will teach you the same.” – says Mariusz Wilczyński.

As every year, we warmly invite young creators, artists, illustrators, and art school students to join the Animation Group, which will be working during the ten-day audiovisual workshops – the Film Spring Open Workshops. The workshops will be led by your favorite mentor, painter, set designer, and animated film director – Mariusz Wilczyński.

I predict, just like before, that some participants will have their own ideas, and we will work on them together. For those looking for inspiration, I have already prepared a set of several of the most beautiful HAIKU.

Participants will have the opportunity to work on their projects using a technique of their choice and based on their own scripts, receiving feedback from the Master of animation. You will have a rare opportunity to interact with a great artist and co-create the unique creative atmosphere of the group.

Before the start of the Workshops, there will be 3 online sessions. The first one is already on 09.09.2025. Participants will be able to prepare their film scripts in advance, which they will realize during the Film Spring Open 2025. Please send your applications to: biuro@filmspringopen.eu

To take part in the Animation Group, register for the Film Spring Open Workshops, which will take place from 07 to 16 October 2025 in Krakow!
