Over seven summer weekends, young people from Polish provinces of Podlaskie, Lubelskie, Podkarpackie, Świętokrzyskie, Opolskie, Lubuskie and Wielkopolskie learned the secrets of working in the world of cinema. Participants experimented with cinematography and sound equipment under the guidance of specialized crew to eventually create their own films. The program included a variety of activities aimed at developing the practical and creative skills of young filmmakers.
Of the 140 participants, 35 were awarded scholarships sponsored by Netflix, which will enable them to participate in the Film Spring Open Workshop. The scholarship recipients will work on short films depicting selected professions related to the film set.
