The group’s work programme consists of two parts:
PRACTICAL PART
- filmmaking the etude “24h” – participants working in 2-3 teamwork will make a short film based on documentary observation. The process will include: finding the location and protagonist of the film, defining the shooting aesthetics, editing
- possible shooting of the film according to personal idea – consultations
THEORETICAL PART
- structure of a documentary film from the director’s and the cinematographer’s point of view
- how to identify a film subject, choice of protagonist and location
- working with the protagonist
- how to choose the film crew
- film screenings and filmmaking analysis
- selected cinematography topics – frame/shot/scene
- consultation of participants’ own work
