The Firefly Light Crew Lighting Group will support the cinematography tests taking place during Film Spring Open 2026.

Participants of the Directing and Cinematography Arri Group led by Wojciech Staroń, as well as Marcin Koszałka’s Cinematography SONY Group, will work with the support of professional lighting technicians who work on film sets on a daily basis.

The main task of the group will be to assist with lighting scenes prepared for cinematography tests. This will allow participants to observe and learn in practice how a lighting crew works and to see how the placement and selection of lighting affect the final image.

Cooperation with the cinematography groups will provide an opportunity to gain practical experience in working with light on set and to learn the basic principles of collaboration between the camera and lighting departments.
