Mobile Education Centre for AI Implementation in the Audiovisual (AV) Industry
Project: Innovative AI Education for the Audiovisual (AV) Industry
Project number: 2025-1-PL01-KA210-VET-000356609
Project duration: 1 November 2025 – 31 December 2026
Programme: Erasmus+
Lead organisation: Film Spring Open Foundation (PL)
Partner: Film Spring Open France (FR)
The project introduces AI into the audiovisual industry through an innovative, modular educational programme delivered via the Cinebus. It will enable rapid responses to technological changes and provide participants with practical AI competences for AV production. Its availability in peripheral regions of Poland and Europe will ensure broad participation while supporting the development of green audiovisual production.
We will implement an international and interdisciplinary audiovisual education system consisting of two continuously updated components:
A multilingual online theoretical education system (2 courses) preparing participants for practical activities, delivered by renowned AI specialists working in the industry.
Two mobile practical courses delivered in an eco-friendly Cinebus in peripheral regions of Poland and France.
Results
AI represents a revolution in the AV industry, making rapid implementation essential. Our international, year-round programme combines theory (online courses) with intensive hands-on practice, ensuring access to rapidly evolving AI tools and software. The eco-friendly Cinebus will enable us to deliver educational opportunities to peripheral regions. On-site courses will enhance participants’ competences, preparing them to work in interdisciplinary creative teams.

Mobile Education Centre for AI Implementation in the Audiovisual (AV) Industry
Our project, implemented in the mobile AV studio Cinebus, provides access to essential AI-based audiovisual education, particularly in peripheral regions. Thanks to outstanding lecturers and modern tools, the project offers unique educational opportunities. The Cinebus enables interdisciplinary collaboration and fosters creativity through the development of studio-based projects supported by AI, preparing participants for the challenges of the future.
Ten days of Film Spring Open Workshop, which we have been organizing for 19 years, is too short a period to fully explore new technologies. Filmspringers Connect expands the programme by adding online education and combining it with on-site workshops. Outstanding AV artists and technicians do not have the time for year-round in-person education, and the industry is only able to provide the best and most up-to-date equipment for testing and learning once a year.
The future of the AV industry in Poland requires close cooperation between artists and IT specialists, the implementation of AI, and the promotion of green production. We teach “through practice,” and our interdisciplinary education builds relationships and supports the formation of creative teams. Improving competences is a necessity and should be free of charge—accessible to everyone.
The Film Spring Open Foundation, with funding from the National Recovery Plan (KPO), is implementing the project “FilmSpringers Connect.”
