Ten days that might turn your approach to creation completely upside down.

This will be a special edition – a jubilee. For the twentieth time, we will meet at Film Spring Open to create together, to think, to experiment, and to search for new storytelling formats. It will be creative, collaborative, and… even more inspiring!

Together, we will step into the ring – where AI is waiting. Together, we will learn how to use Artificial Intelligence in audiovisual creation.

Film Spring Open is not just another workshop. It’s a practical creative camp, a real film set – a place where you learn by doing, not just by listening. Where films and creative projects are made from day one.

It’s one of the biggest international film workshops in Europe – every year, 350–400 participants from all over the world come to us to develop projects, to experiment, and most importantly – to meet the masters.

We work in professional thematic groups led by acclaimed creators – including Oscar winners.

From screenwriting, directing, sustainable and eco-friendly production, cinematography, visual effects, editing, composing, new formats, animation, and VR, to AI-based projects.

At Film Spring Open, no one stays on the sidelines – you work with the best, using top-class equipment provided by over 50 AV and IT industry companies.

But the most important thing is that this is truly about the future of audiovisual art – about the future of cinematic language, the future of engaging narrative. The future of tools. The future of the environment.

About art that responds to the world and asks questions – not just how to do something, but why?

Before the on-site workshops, we invite you to take part in online meetings to develop your ideas and scripts, so that in Kraków you can use 4.5 million euros’ worth of equipment from 52 technology partners to carry out interdisciplinary studio projects.

Because the Film Spring Open is also a time of encounters – many of which grow into long-term collaborations.

For 20 years, we’ve been building a community of Filmspringers – cohesive teams, many of which have gone on to make films or commercials together after leaving Kraków, such as in the case of Film Spring Open France.

We invite students of art schools, filmmakers, game developers, graphic designers, programmers, editors, composers – anyone who wants to confront the future of audiovisual art and your role in it.
