We are pleased to announce that ELEGOO has become a Technology Partner of the Film Spring Open Workshops 2026! Laurent Sola will lead hands-on 3D printing sessions during the workshops in Kraków as part of Green Film Open, showcasing the new Centauri Carbon 2 setup in action.
How can 3D printing transform work on a film set?
During this year’s Film Spring Open Workshops, as part of Green Film Open, Laurent Sola will lead practical workshops focused on the use of sustainable 3D printing in filmmaking, particularly for creating sets and props for film productions.
The workshops, organised in cooperation with ELEGOO, a 3D printer manufacturer and our new Technology Partner, will guide participants through the entire process – from the initial idea and 3D model to a finished physical object.
Participants will learn the basics of 3D modelling, preparing models for printing, operating a 3D printer and rapid prototyping. We will also explore how additive manufacturing can support the creation of props, set elements, accessories for filmmaking equipment and custom-made solutions needed on set.
And all of this will be hands-on!

Throughout the Film Spring Open Workshops, participants will have access to the latest ELEGOO Centauri Carbon 2 Combo printer provided by our Partner, allowing them to test their own ideas and develop projects on site.
From a digital design to a physical object ready to be used on set – quickly, creatively and without the need for a huge budget.
We warmly invite you to register for the Film Spring Open Workshops!
We would like to thank KBF for supporting Green Film Open!
