Plenery 2009 – Filmy
Film Spring Open-Air has been gradually growing for 7 years. It started in 2005 in Jurata (Hel peninsula in Poland) with participants from Switzerland, Germany and Finland. (co-organized by FOCAL Switzerland, Film Haus Cologne from Germany and UIAH – Film School from Finland). Because of the popularity of these workshops Film Spring created an Open-Air, which is an idea borrowed from painters (plain-air painters holidays), which proved to be very successful.
At Open-Air participants MAKE films then watch and discuss what they produce. In 2008 and 2009 it gathered participants from Sweden, Great Britain, France, Germany, Switzerland and Poland. In 2011 and 2012 other European filmmakers joined from Bosnia, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Norway, Poland, Serbia, Switzerland, Sweden, UK.
Besides individual filmmakers from many European countries (Bosnia, Croatia, Switzerland, Germany, France, Sweden, Norway, England, Finland, Serbia, Italy etc.) the Film Spring Open-Air welcomed a group of filmmakers from the TVN Media School as well as the Department of Radio and Television from Krzysztof Kieslowski’s University of Silesia in Katowice from Poland, the French Agency “Program of European Youth in Action”, Film Haus Cologne and the International Film School Cologne from Germany, the Association of Polish Filmmakers, FOCAL — the Foundation for Professional training in cinema and audiovisual media from Switzerland, The UIAH — School of Motion Picture, Television and Production from Finland, Medie Fabrikken from Norway, Cat Studios from France, Department of Sound Directing and Engineering of Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw from Poland.
